Transmission Service |
When we service a
transmission, we remove the transmission oil pan, change the fluid,
filter and/or clean the screen. We also replace the pan gasket and tighten
bands when accessible. We inspect and notify you of any problems
we may find. If your fluid is discolored, we may advise you to
have your transmission flushed. If there are sediments in the pan,
this is usually a sign of transmission wear. If we find bits of metal,
clutch material or burnt fluid in the pan it could mean something is coming apart in the
transmission or torque converter and could lead to serious problems.
Keeping your transmission serviced yearly could save you money in the long
run! |
